Civil Litigation

Contact us if you have a claim against another or are being "sued" by another. Alison is the person who can advise you.

Court proceedings are expensive. Even if you win you will be out of pocket. The Courts awards of costs never cover the full costs you will incur in taking or defending any Court case. We can advise you on the merits of your claim or defence. We will also try to estimate what the cost will be.

Often how ever it is better to be considering some form of settlement. If an agreed settlement can be achieved then the cost to you is less, and you can get on with more important matters.
